223:365 the best cinnamon toast you'll ever eat in your life

and why is that? well...

1) because it's sans raisins. i mean, why do raisins exist anyway? not once was i ever jealous of kids who had those little red boxes of dried grapes in their lunch boxes. gah-ross!!!

2) the word slather is an understatement when describing the amount of melted butter on this toast. it's almost too much butter honestly. almost! but i love butter, so me and this toast get along great!

3) i'm not sure where they get their bread from but it's perfection. it's got a slight chew and the crust toasts up well.

4) paired with The Matador, it's a great accompaniment for a middle of the day break. what's The Matador, you ask? it's drip coffee with an espresso shot and steamed milk. such a good pair, those two.

you can find this lovely toast and some great coffee at Trouble Coffee in the Sunset district of SF. 

buttery, slightly sweet, crunchy AND chewy? i couldn't ask for a better cinnamon toast.

Sightglass coffee is one of my favorites. partially because the coffee is fantastic and partially because the design of their retail store is sort of amazeballs. it's a very spacious hipster type place. they've got a few terrariums in there, a taxidermy owl, high ceilings and two levels of chatting space. they do pretty things with your mocha's foam and the giant sliding glass door in the front is awesome. you should probably check it out sometime. invite me while you're at it.
